LiquidatorVault TCG LLC (referred to as "LiquidatorVault TCG," "we," "us," or "our") is a California limited liability company operating an online-only store. We operate this website and its related content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer the Services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you visit or use the Services, make or attempt to make a purchase, create an account, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with us. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service regarding the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is a notice of our practices and does not create consent where consent is required by law.

1. Personal Information We Collect or Process

"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual or household. It does not include information that has been anonymized or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.

Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect or process the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.

  • Order and transaction information: products viewed or purchased, cart contents and value, promotional gifts for which a cart may qualify, order history, returns, exchanges, cancellations, discounts, payment status, shipping information, and transaction records.

  • Payment information: payment method, billing details, payment authorization or confirmation, and related transaction information. Shopify and our payment processors collect and process payment-card or financial-account information needed to complete a transaction. We generally do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

  • Account information: login credentials, account settings, saved addresses, preferences, and other information used to maintain or secure an account.

  • Communications: information included in customer-service requests, emails, messages, reviews submitted directly to us, dispute communications, and other correspondence.

  • Device and network information: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, network connection, cookie identifiers, and similar technical identifiers.

  • Usage information: information about how and when you access or use the Services, pages and products viewed, links clicked, searches, referring pages, and interactions with store features.

  • Fraud and security information: information and signals used to authenticate transactions, protect accounts, identify suspicious activity, prevent chargebacks or abuse, and maintain the security of the Services.

  • Inferences: preferences or interests that may be inferred from purchases, browsing activity, or other interactions with the Services, where permitted by law.

Please do not send us Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, complete payment-card numbers, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email or other unsecured channels.

2. Sources of Personal Information

We may collect personal information from:

  • You, including when you browse the store, create an account, place or attempt to place an order, request support, subscribe to communications, or otherwise provide information to us.

  • Automatically through the Services, including through cookies, pixels, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies used by Shopify and permitted app providers.

  • Shopify and payment providers, which process information needed to operate the store, complete payments, provide Shop or other Shopify features, maintain security, and prevent fraud.

  • Service providers, including shipping carriers, technology providers, customer-support providers, and vendors that support store operations.

  • Our Shopify app providers, including an app used to display eBay seller feedback and an app used to determine whether a cart qualifies for a promotional gift.

  • Third-party platforms, when you interact with our content or reviews displayed from a third-party service, or when you choose to communicate with us through a third-party platform.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services.

  • Process payments and complete, fulfill, ship, and document orders.

  • Calculate whether a cart qualifies for a promotional gift and add or display that promotion.

  • Create and manage customer accounts and remember customer preferences.

  • Communicate about orders, payments, shipping, returns, exchanges, cancellations, disputes, product recalls, security issues, or policy changes.

  • Provide customer service and respond to questions or requests.

  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, security incidents, abuse, violations of our policies, and other illegal or harmful activity.

  • Comply with tax, accounting, recordkeeping, consumer-protection, and other legal obligations.

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our agreements and policies.

  • Analyze store performance and understand how visitors use the Services.

  • Personalize the shopping experience, including remembering cart activity and displaying relevant store features.

  • Send marketing emails only when permitted by applicable law and consistent with the preferences you provide. We do not treat a telephone number supplied solely for an order, delivery, fraud review, or customer service as consent to receive promotional text messages.

4. Shopify and Our Store Apps

Shopify

Shopify hosts the Services and collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services. Information submitted through the Services is transmitted to Shopify and may be transmitted to Shopify's service providers. Shopify may also process information to provide Shop, payments, fraud prevention, analytics, personalization, and other enabled Shopify features.

Where Shopify processes personal information for its own purposes or provides enhanced services using information from interactions across Shopify merchants and services, Shopify is responsible for that processing. For more information, review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

eBay review-display app

We use a Shopify app to display seller feedback or reviews originating from eBay in our store footer. The app provider may process technical information needed to load and operate the widget. Publicly displayed feedback may include review text, ratings, dates, or public account information made available through eBay. Information you provide directly to eBay is governed by eBay's own privacy notice and practices.

Promotional-gift app

We use a Shopify app that evaluates cart contents and cart value to determine whether a cart qualifies for a promotional gift. Depending on its configuration and Shopify permissions, the app may process cart, product, discount, session, order, and related technical information needed to provide this feature.

Our app providers may change their technology or processing practices. We may update this Privacy Policy if our use of an app materially changes our privacy practices.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We, Shopify, and permitted service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to:

  • Operate checkout, accounts, carts, security, fraud-prevention, and other essential store functions.

  • Remember preferences and cart activity.

  • Load and operate the review-display and promotional-gift features.

  • Understand store traffic and how visitors interact with the Services.

  • Measure and improve performance.

  • Support personalization or advertising features when enabled and permitted by law.

Some technologies are necessary for the Services to function. Others may be used for functionality, analytics, personalization, or advertising. Where applicable, you may manage available choices through our cookie banner, cookie-preference tool, or data-sharing opt-out page. You may also adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies, although doing so may cause parts of the Services to function incorrectly.

Where required by applicable law, we obtain consent before using nonessential cookies or similar technologies. Our Services recognize qualifying Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 10 below. Other than Global Privacy Control, we do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no uniform industry standard for those signals.

For information about cookies used by Shopify, visit Shopify's Cookie Policy.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information for legitimate business purposes to:

  • Shopify and payment providers that host the store, process transactions, provide enabled ecommerce features, and help detect fraud.

  • Shipping and delivery providers that deliver orders to eligible USPS domestic-service destinations accepted at checkout and provide shipment tracking or address-validation services.

  • Shopify app providers, including the providers of the eBay review-display and promotional-gift apps described above.

  • Technology and operational service providers that provide hosting, cloud storage, analytics, security, customer support, communications, accounting, or similar business services.

  • Professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers, auditors, consultants, and attorneys, when reasonably necessary.

  • Government authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, is necessary to protect rights or safety, or is appropriate to investigate fraud, illegal activity, policy violations, disputes, or security incidents.

  • Parties to a business transaction, such as a purchaser, successor, lender, or adviser in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent, such as when information must be provided to complete a service you request.

We do not sell customer lists for money. Certain disclosures involving cookies, Shopify enhanced services, or personalized advertising may nevertheless be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out as described below.

7. Third-Party Websites, Platforms, and Links

The Services may contain links to, or content obtained from, third-party websites and platforms, including eBay. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, accuracy, or practices of third parties. Their collection and use of personal information are governed by their own privacy notices. A link or third-party feature does not, by itself, mean that we endorse the third party's privacy or security practices.

Information posted in public or semi-public areas of third-party platforms may be visible to other users and may be used by those platforms or other parties. Consider the information you choose to make public before posting a review or other content.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information to us may contact us using the information in Section 13.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share, as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws, the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

9. Security and Data Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. We also rely on Shopify and our service providers to maintain safeguards appropriate to the information they process. No security program, website, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to fulfill and document transactions, maintain accounts, provide customer service, prevent fraud, comply with tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and other legal obligations, resolve disputes, process chargebacks, and enforce our agreements and policies. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the reason it was collected, the sensitivity of the information, applicable limitation periods, and legal requirements.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and technical limitations such as backup cycles. App providers and other third parties may maintain information according to their own retention schedules.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or information about personal information we maintain about you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

  • Request deletion of personal information.

  • Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or the use of personal information for targeted advertising.

  • Appeal a decision we make regarding a privacy request, where applicable.

  • Withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent.

You may submit a privacy request using the contact information in Section 13. You may opt out of uses that may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising through our Data Sharing Opt-Out page.

If you visit the Services with Global Privacy Control enabled, we will treat the signal as a request to opt out for the browser and device sending the signal where required by applicable law. If Shopify can associate that browser or device with a Shopify account, Shopify may also apply the request to that account. Learn more at Global Privacy Control.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Verification information will be used only for verification and related security purposes. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, but we may require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Rights are not absolute, and we may deny or limit a request when permitted by law. If we deny a request, we will provide an explanation and any available appeal instructions when required.

11. Communication Preferences

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, security notices, recall information, or responses to customer-service requests.

We do not currently treat a telephone number provided for checkout, delivery, fraud prevention, or customer support as permission to send promotional SMS messages. Before beginning promotional SMS marketing, we will implement an appropriate separate opt-in process and update our disclosures as necessary.

12. Online-Only Store, Domestic Delivery, and International Processing

We operate exclusively online and currently accept orders only for delivery destinations that our checkout recognizes as eligible for USPS Ground Advantage or another available USPS domestic service without international-postage charges, import duties, or import taxes. Eligible destinations and services are determined at checkout and may be subject to USPS addressing, product, and service restrictions. We do not offer conventional international shipping.

This delivery limitation does not mean that all personal information remains in the United States. Shopify and other service providers may transfer, store, or process personal information in the United States, Canada, and other countries where they or their providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.
